Not really. However, full-grain Italian leather can feel a bit firm at first and softens over the first two to three weeks of regular wear. The stretch is subtle — a few millimeters in width — and shapes the shoes to your foot rather than changing their size.

Our zapatos are handcrafted in Portugal in a women-led atelier in one of the historical shoe manufacturing regions of the country.

Almost all of all our shoes are full-grain Italian leather from LWG Silver and Gold-certified partners.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after use, and condition every few months. If your shoes get wet, stuff them lightly with paper and let them air-dry at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.

Natural leather carries small marks and variations — a mark of its authenticity, not a defect.
