Frequently Asked Questions

Pre-Orders

How does your pre-order system work?

Each season, we create a small, pre-determined batch of ZAPATOS—nothing more, nothing less. Pre-orders give you first access to secure your pair before the official release. Once the season’s stock is gone, it’s gone. No restocks. No overproduction. Just intentional craftsmanship, released in limited waves.

How It Works:

Pre-Order Opens: [Date] – Reserve your pair before the public drop.

Limited Release Follows: Any remaining pairs are available—but once they sell out, they’re gone.

Can I return or exchange a pre-ordered pair?

Of course! You have 14 days from the delivery date to return or exchange your ZAPATOS.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Unfortunately, cancellations aren’t possible—our ZAPATOS are already made!

Payments & Discounts

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, ShopPay, AmazonPay, and Venmo.

Do you offer promo codes?

Each pair we create is crafted in limited quantities with care and intention. Rather than mass production, we focus on creating timeless, high-quality pieces that hold their value. This way, every pair remains as special as the hands that made them. While we don’t offer promo codes, we do plan to host a yearly sample sale beginning in 2026—an opportunity to find select pieces at a rare discount (subject to availability).

Product & Sizing

How do I find my size?

Please refer to the Size & Fit table on the shop page.(If you are between two sizes, we recommend sizing down.)

How do I clean and care for my ZAPATOS?

  • With the right care, your shoes can last even longer. Here’s how:
  • Wipe away surface dirt with a soft, dry cloth.

For a deeper clean, use a soft cloth, mild soap, and water. For detailed leather care, explore our full care guide here.

Materials & Sustainability

Where are your shoes made and why?

Our ZAPATOS are made in Portugal, home to a rich tradition of artisanal shoemaking. Here, centuries-old craftsmanship meets modern innovation, ensuring precision, quality, and attention to detail in every pair. Portugal also upholds strict EU labor laws, guaranteeing ethical working conditions and fair wages. Plus, many factories lead in sustainability, using solar power and energy-efficient practices to reduce environmental impact—including ours.

What materials are used in your shoes?

Our shoes are crafted from premium LEATHER (or CUERO in our mother tongue). Both the upper and the outsole are made from top-tier leather, carefully sourced from certified suppliers. All our leather suppliers are certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), achieving Silver or Gold status, reflecting best practices in water and energy use, chemical management, and waste reduction.

Where are your materials sourced from?

In addition to local suppliers, we carefully source materials from neighboring Spain and Italy to ensure top quality and minimize carbon emissions.

Do your materials change over time?

While we may occasionally change suppliers, we would never compromise the quality of our ZAPATOS. Rest assured, we’re committed to maintaining excellence in every pair
